PENNY Happy 18th Birthday Sweetheart Now this is where we start wishing again, wishing we could spend this day with you, wishing we could see you open your presents, watch you smile and hear you laugh but we can't. We watched you grow from a beautiful baby to a stunning young girl but we have been robbed of seeing you as an adult. Today should have been your special day, you should have been here enjoying it and you would have got everything you wanted, your Mam and dad would have made sure of that as they always did. Instead all we could do was take flowers and trinkets to your grave, not really the kind of thing we expected to do for your eighteenth. Your Dad bought a bottle of champagne, and me, uncle Ivan, your Mam and Dad all had a glass and toasted your photo and wished you Happy Birthday, then your Mam got out a bottle of your favourite WKD and we all had a glass of that for you. I just hope that where-ever you are you had a great day and you enjoyed yourself. I hope you had a huge party and got blotto on WKD, as you would have done if you had still been with us. I know one day you will be able to fill us in on everything you have done since you were taken from us, until then though we have to use our imagination and hope you are having a good time.
