Happy birthday penny, 22 today! Doesn’t seem like long ago we were celebrating our 12th birthdays! We would always have a sleepover and rent a scary film and try to push for an 18 with a few extra alcopops! But we always had to settle for a 15 and just 1 or 2 bottles. We always had fun though, never had a dull moment let alone a dull birthday! You would get far more presents than me I was so jealous and would have to wait ages for my birthday to come around so I could ask for the same cool stuff you got! I can imagine that would still be happening now! Will be getting the iron bru wickeds out tomorrow and will be coming to share a bottle with you. I remember the first time we ever had one. We were sitting in a bar in lanzerote and my mam let us have a bottle so we ordered two wickeds, we wanted the blue ones but the man brought us two iron bru ones instead. I took a huff because I wanted the blue one but you said the iron bru one was lush so it became a favourite from then on. It still feels like you’re here, there isn’t a day that goes by when you aren’t thought of and the memories are triggered off by the smallest things. Going to watch our video tomorrow even though we will both be cringing… I don’t think we realised my dad would put it on a tape when we got back! But never mind its worth sitting watching the embarrassing song we sang on it because that’s just us and exactly how we were.
