I first met penny a few years back when we met through my father and Joanne, close friends of Ray and Denise. We shared the same interests as Penny was also a big fan of Greenday. My memories of Penny are that she was a beautiful, quiet girl, but very nice to talk to. She would never say a bad word about anyone and that is what I liked about Penny as she was a unique person. My best memories are from when we went ice skating together and she warned me before hand, 'I'm not very good!' Me being myself just laughed and said 'You can't be any worse than me.' So Ray dropped us off at Whitley Bay Ice Rink one Friday night and we waited outside in the freezing cold for the place to open. We stood there for about fifteen minutes and I said to Penny 'You better be good for this!' She just laughed. So when we finally got around to skating, Penny put one foot on the ice and fell straight onto her bum. We just laughed constantly for two hours whilst falling about 20 times between the two of us. That was a great night and I will never forget it. It will stick in my memory forever as will Penny. You will always be in my thoughts and in my heart. You will be dearly missed by many people.
